Laterer that night. Rei and Kathryn are at the train station
KATH: Rei, can we not go to the Mer thing?

KATH: The stupid things Mer makes you do for her sick amusement! Can we just stay at my house and relax?

Laterest, Rei and Kathryn are kissing in her bed when he stops

REI: Oh... Uh... Well.... We dated in high school and we had a band together and stuff... and then i moved away and we broke up...
